Customizing MoboCalc |
|
Use the General tab of the Options dialog to control general MoboCalc behavior.
Display at startup. If you want to open MoboCalc automatically when Excel starts, select this option. Otherwise, you can show or hide MoboCalc manually using the Tools / Ink Input menu item or the Ink Input toolbar button in Excel 2003 or the Ink Input item on the Add-Ins tab of the ribbon in Excel 2007.
Automatically resize window for long entries. If this option is selected, the MoboCalc window will automatically increase its height to display long entries and shrink again when the additional space is no longer needed. If this option is not selected, you will have to expand the window manually to display long entries.
Move selection after Enter. By default, MoboCalc will use whatever preference you set in Excel to move your selection to the next cell after you tap Enter. This is indicated by a solid color in the check box for this option. If you would prefer different behavior when using MoboCalc, you can clear the check box to stay on the same cell after you tap Enter, or check it to move to the next cell in the direction currently selected in Excel.
Product Improvement Program. All users are encouraged to join the Product Improvement Program, which helps us improve handwriting recognition in MoboCalc. By joining this program, you allow us to upload anonymous handwriting samples and corresponding formula recognition results from your Excel sessions to a secure server where errors can be analyzed and corrected. No personal information, Excel files, or calculation results are sent to Enventra, and no information is shared with third parties.
