You can use the clipboard instead of dragging and dropping to move math expressions between MoboMath and other applications.
When you use Cut or Copy from the Edit menu, the expression in the current region (indicated by a yellow background) is placed on the clipboard in the current export format.
When using the context menu, the Cut or Copy applies to the current region if you right-tap in empty space. If you right-tap inside a region, Cut and Copy apply to the region you tap instead.
After cutting or copying your expression, you can then paste it into another application such as Microsoft Word, Maple, or Mathematica, as long as the export format is one that is understood by that application.
Note that the format is fixed at the time of the cut or copy. If you copy or cut a region and then need to change the format, just undo the operation if necessary, change the format through the Export menu, and cut or copy it again.
Similarly, you can cut or copy an expression in another application and paste it into your MoboMath window, assuming it is in a format that MoboMath supports. The format will be detected automatically – you don't need to change your export format to do this. Currently MoboMath can import expressions in Microsoft Word and various MathML formats, including those used by Maple and Mathematica.
