Importing expressions

You can import expressions in Microsoft Word Equation Editor 2003 and 2007 formats or MathML by dragging or pasting them into the MoboMath window. MoboMath examines the expression you are importing to determine the correct format – you do not have to specify it in advance. Other export formats currently cannot be imported into MoboMath.

Some documents may contain expressions that MoboMath cannot handle because they include characters or expression types that are not supported. These expressions cannot be imported, but most expressions will be fine.

You cannot import an image of a math expression into MoboMath. Only editable expressions can be imported.
