The following sections explain the basics of using MoboMath and how to make it work for you. You may also want to review the video tutorials on the MoboMath Help menu or the Enventra web site. The video tutorials let you see MoboMath's capabilities in action.

Using the pen covers the basics of entering math expressions in MoboMath, and Recognition explains how to convert your handwritten entries into formatted expressions. Other valuable usage guidelines are covered in a later topic.

 

An efficient way to control MoboMath is with handwritten gestures. There are four simple command gestures for issuing the most basic instructions enter, undo, redo, and clear page.

 

Editing math expressions is just as important as recognizing them. You need an easy way to fix errors and manipulate math expressions to copy them, modify them, or rearrange them. The editing section covers the editing gestures and other tools for changing expressions, with links to more detailed topics on each method.

 

There are also introductory sections that cover other aspects of MoboMath:

 

MoboMath supports multiple independent regions on the display, which can help in editing.
MoboMath only deals with valid math expressions, but there are placeholders which maintain validity through some editing operations.
Brackets are a special case, since they work in pairs.
