The Preferences dialog allows you to customize many elements of MoboMath's appearance and behavior. To open the Preferences dialog, select Preferences from the Edit menu.
There are five tabs in the dialog.
The Font tab lets you choose a font for formatted text expressions. If you find that editing is difficult because the characters are too small to be convenient targets of drags, for example, you may want to increase the font size; or if the characters are too big and don't let you see all of a complex expression you may want to reduce it.
When you have made your choice, tap the Apply button to accept it and leave the dialog open, or tap the Close button to accept it and close the dialog. Use the Cancel button to discard your changes. Use Apply (or Close) on each tab where you want to save changes. Once you have made your changes, they will remain in effect for future MoboMath sessions.
The Colors tab controls font, selection, and background colors. At the top of the page you choose which color to modify, such as the background color or the color of selected regions. The tab provides several ways to choose a new color.
The Settings tab controls other settings for MoboMath:
| • | Timeout – the time period (if any) after which MoboMath will automatically recognize your input. You can turn the timeout on or off, and adjust the length of the timeout. |
| • | Cursor – you can choose a dot cursor or a pen-shaped cursor. |
The Registration tab lets you sign up for the product improvement program and request product information. The product improvement program helps us improve MoboMath by securely uploading handwriting data for analysis while preserving your anonymity.
Export
The Export tab lets you control the format used to export expressions to other applications. See the Export formats topic for additional information.
