Selecting text |

MoboMath supports two types of selection.
If you have multiple regions on the screen, one of them is current, indicated by a yellow background. You can select a new current region by tapping in it, but away from all the text. Many menu items operate on the current region. See the multiple regions topic for more details.
Each individual expression, the current one and each of the others, can also have a selected subexpression, indicated by red text. (You can change any of these colors if you wish.) Many editing operations affect the selected subexpression.
Select a subexpression by circling it. You don't have to use Enter after circling – it is recognized automatically. If the selection doesn't take effect immediately and your circle remains on the screen, undo it and try again more carefully.
As this example shows, the selection does not have to be valid as a standalone expression, but it should consist of one contiguous part of the expression.
