Free MoboCalc Update for Licensed Users
Important Note: A newer version of MoboCalc was released on November 13, 2009. You may download the most recent update here.
MoboCalc version 1.0.6 is now available. Licensed users who purchased and downloaded their product before September 10, 2008 may download a free upgrade to the new version. After downloading, open the downloaded file to install MoboCalc 1.0.6 and replace your current version. After installing this update, you may have to reenter some display preferences in the MoboCalc Options dialog.
If you are not sure whether you need this update, you can check your current version number by selecting About MoboCalc from the MoboCalc Help menu.
This release includes the following improvements:
- Corrected a problem where, in rare cases, the MoboCalc input panel would not appear when starting Excel. When this occurred, the Ink Input item in the ribbon, toolbar or Tools menu would have to be selected twice to display the MoboCalc input panel.
- Fixed a problem that sometimes prevented the placeholder character that appears after erasing part of a formula from being overwritten with new input.
- Improved the distinction between the pi (PI) and Pi (PRODUCT) function shortcuts when entering a formula.
- Improved the handling of editing gestures.
This update is recommended for all users.
