MoboMath 1.2 Update for Licensed Users

MoboMath 1.2, the handwritten equation editor for technical documents, calculations, and web pages, was released on February 18, 2010 and is now available to licensed users.

All currently licensed users who purchased and installed MoboMath before February 18, 2010 are eligible for a free upgrade to the new version. If you purchased MoboMath on or after February 18, you should already have the latest version. If you are not sure whether you need this update, you can check your current version number by selecting About MoboMath from the MoboMath Help menu.

You may download MoboMath 1.2 through the link below. Once the download is complete, simply open the downloaded file to upgrade to the latest version of MoboMath.

This new version of MoboMath includes the following important improvements:

  • New Mathematica Support. Mathematica users can now create handwritten expressions in MoboMath, convert them to formatted math, and copy them into their Mathematica notebooks for evaluation. In addition to traditional math expressions, MoboMath supports a number of the most popular Mathematica functions, allowing users to solve, simplify, factor, expand, and plot expressions or evaluate them using many of Mathematica's built-in math functions.
  • Improved Maple support. Users can now use many of the most popular Maple functions in addition to standard mathematical expressions to build Maple worksheets. In addition, a new Maple menu selection automatically sets all options needed to use MoboMath with Maple.
  • Enhanced MathML export and import for improved compatibility with a broader range of third-party products.
  • Improved handwriting recognition, especially for longer, more complex expressions.
  • A simplified user interface, with new options for Mathematica and Maple support, as well as other improvements.
  • An expanded and revised help system, with improved guidance for working with third-party products.
  • Many other improvements to product stability and performance.

This upgrade is recommended for all MoboMath users.
