Customizing the toolbar

You can add or remove toolbar buttons, change their order, or make other changes to the toolbar layout using the toolbar shortcut menu. You can also hide the toolbar or redisplay it.

To show or hide individual toolbar buttons:

  • Right-click or control-tap the toolbar to display its shortcut menu.

  • Choose Customize Toolbar from the menu to display the toolbar customization sheet.

  • Drag any current toolbar buttons you want to remove into the customization sheet.

  • Drag any items you want to add from the customization sheet into the toolbar in the positions where they should be displayed.

  • Tap Done when you are finished with your changes.

You can also remove an item by right-clicking it in the toolbar and choosing Remove Item from the shortcut menu.

To change the order of toolbar buttons:

  • Right-click or control-tap the toolbar to display its shortcut menu, and choose Customize Toolbar from the menu.

  • With the customization sheet displayed, drag items from one position to another in the MoboMath toolbar to move them.

  • Tap Done when you are satisfied with your changes.

To be sure a button remains visible:

By default, MoboMath prioritizes certain toolbar buttons to be sure they remain visible if the window becomes too narrow to display the entire toolbar. You can change this prioritization by indicating that you always want an item to be displayed.

  • Right-click or control-tap the item you want to prioritize in the toolbar.

  • Choose Keep Item Visible from the shortcut menu.

To restore the default toolbar settings:

  • Right-click or control-tap the toolbar to display its shortcut menu, and choose Customize Toolbar from the menu.

  • Drag the default set of items near the bottom of the customization sheet into the MoboMath toolbar.

  • Tap Done to complete the change.
